Funerals

For too long, funeral flowers have been a bit lacklustre, plus full of floral foam and single use plastics. There’s a new movement in floristry to make funeral flowers more personal and heartfelt, befitting the life of the person they are to commemorate. What was the person’s favourite flowers? Can we use the flowers they themselves cultivated? What colours did they love? Can we create something completely bespoke, incorporating a possession of theirs in the piece?

As always with The Twisted Florist, I will use British blooms as far as possible, a fully sustainable and biodegradable base, meaning my creations will be fully appropriate for woodland burials.
